Education

Dr. Agrawal completed MD (Internal Medicine) and DM (Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine) from PGIMER, Chandigarh. He is also European Diplomate in Respiratory Medicine. He underwent advanced training in lung ultrasound and Interventional Pulmonology.

Accomplishment

He has several papers published in various national and international journals. He has contributed three chapters in a widely read text book on Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine. He is a regular faculty in many national and regional conferences. He is also a certified instructor for FCCS course (Fundamental Critical Care Support) under the aegis of “Society of Critical Care Medicine, USA”. Under his leadership Jaypee Hospital is successfully continuing super speciality DNB fellowship program in critical care medicine.

Dr. Agrawal has more than 16 years of rich experience of managing a wide variety of critically ill patients especially those with respiratory ailments. He has done more than 1800 flexible bronchoscopies and about 400 medical thoracoscopies. He specializes in other areas of Interventional Pulmonology including EBUS (Endobronchial Ultrasound), NIV assisted Bronchoscopy and Whole Lung Lavage. He is particularly interested in managing difficult critically ill patients, including advanced techniques like ECMO.
