Rheumatology & Clinical Immunology

The goal of Department of Rheumatology & Clinical Immunology is of improving the lives of patients with chronic musculoskeletal, autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. Our mission is to promote the understanding and treatment of immunologic disorders in order to provide optimal patient health by fostering basic, clinical and translational research and providing compassionate, state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic care. Our centre embraces a philosophy of integrative care for all rheumatological disorders. These affects nearly 10- 20 % of Indian population. These conditions include rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, systemic lupus erythematosus, psoriasis and scleroderma that lead to chronic debilitation, life-long illness.
